l love writing for real people; your customers, your users, your audience. I transform complicated and complex information into something that makes sense. Sometimes it's the everyday admin tasks that are the hardest ones to tackle for users, whether that's opening a bank account, changing your password or updating a Kanban board at work. That's the stuff I want to change. I create content that is customer-focussed, understandable, useful and even a little bit charming.
As people become more demanding of a high-quality online experience, and more discerning in their decision-making process, it's up to organisations to cater to that need. And a key component of that is excellent content. Excellent content is empowering for customers and organisations. It makes happy customers and creates business success.

I've always been all about words. You don't want to know how many times I've read Harry Potter (it's too many). I was never going to be a JK Rowling or a Jane Austen, but writing for communication is a talent of mine. I can turn industry jargon into something anyone can understand, I can rewrite dry science talk into the exciting stuff it should be, I can make finances simple and I can make the unreadable readable. I can make customer journeys simpler and I can make user flows work.
My writing experience goes right back into my schooling days when I wrote a 'Who's your dinosaur boyfriend?' article for the school newsletter. This accomplishment in student journalism was only the beginning. Since then, I've written for ANZ, AGL, The Conversation, GWMWater and the National Debt Helpline, among others.
